Former Trump donor and Kentucky attorney Eric Deters has released a nearly 39-minute YouTube interview with a Greek-based Republican organizer making additional, unverified allegations against former U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle. The video, posted October 16, 2026, on Deters’ channel, comes days after Guilfoyle’s forced resignation amid earlier reports of improper financial requests.

Deters, who previously shared Signal messages with The Wall Street Journal and other outlets showing Guilfoyle asking him to wire $100,000 to her American Express account in early July 2025 (days before her Senate confirmation hearing), interviewed Jonathan Constantine. Constantine is described as a U.S. citizen, trial attorney in Greece, and founder of a Hellenic Republicans chapter who has organized voter registration efforts there. In the interview, Constantine alleges Guilfoyle ignored concerns raised by local Republicans about foreign influence and embassy issues, associated with individuals linked to Chinese Communist Party interests and Iranian Revolutionary Guard-connected shipping figures, and accepted large payments or benefits while promoting certain business deals. He further claims mishandling of communications involving a classified phone and describes an extravagant personal lifestyle, including reports of cocaine use from embassy staff. Constantine says he and associates compiled extensive documentation and reported concerns to U.S. authorities with limited response.
These claims remain unconfirmed by independent mainstream reporting as of publication. Major outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, CNN, BBC, and CBS, have extensively covered the earlier Deters allegations regarding the $100,000 request and offers of access or “ride or die” support in Trump world in exchange for help with his own issues (including efforts related to an Ohio doctor’s extradition from Pakistan and tax matters). Deters has said he paid Guilfoyle roughly $300,000 over years for speaking appearances at events he organized but refused the additional payment. Guilfoyle’s attorneys have disputed the authenticity of the messages in some statements and characterized the matter as a contractual dispute over unpaid fees of approximately $150,000 for prior work, denying corruption. Deters has since filed a defamation lawsuit against Guilfoyle and her legal team.
The initial reporting prompted President Donald Trump to publicly express displeasure. On October 13, the White House asked Guilfoyle—Donald Trump Jr.’s former fiancée and a longtime Trump-world figure and former Fox News personality—to resign. She did so, with the White House stating she would not continue in the post. Additional Journal reporting referenced audio in which she discussed connections to Greek business figures covering travel and other matters during her tenure.
Deters has promoted the new interview as significant, posting about it on X and stating he would not disappoint viewers. Some replies expressed skepticism about the audio quality or the substance. The broader framing that the video “could bring down the entire Trump administration” is not supported by available evidence: the prior allegations led to the removal of one ambassador, not systemic collapse, and the administration has not indicated further fallout from the new claims. Deters has also referenced other Trump-world figures in past comments but has stated he lacks personal knowledge of wider involvement in the specific matters he raised with Guilfoyle.
Guilfoyle has denied wrongdoing in connection with the earlier reports and said she would vigorously defend her reputation. No immediate public response from her or the White House specifically addressing the October 16 interview was available. Congressional and State Department inspector general interest in aspects of the original allegations has been reported in some coverage.
The episode adds another layer to scrutiny of Guilfoyle’s brief ambassadorship, which began after her 2025 confirmation and ended amid the cascade of reports this month. Independent verification of the newest claims from the Greek source would be required before they could carry comparable weight to the documented messages and reporting that preceded her departure.
