GOP Senator Susan Collins CAUGHT In MASSIVE BRIBERY SCHEME Probe.

A ProPublica investigation published Tuesday reports that FBI anti-corruption agents spent years examining whether Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins and her political operation traded official support for campaign money from Hawaii defense contractor Navatek — and that by late 2024 agents wanted a broader congressional bribery probe built on the contractor’s confession.

The story centers on Martin Kao, the former CEO of Navatek, later renamed PacMar Technologies. Kao was arrested after a September 2020 FBI raid and later pleaded guilty to illegal campaign contributions and separate pandemic-relief fraud. He was sentenced to 87 months in prison. Prosecutors said he and associates used family members as straw donors and a shell company — the Society of Young Women Scientists and Engineers — to move money toward Collins’ 2020 reelection effort, including a $150,000 contribution to her super PAC, 1820 PAC. Federal contractors are barred from making such donations. Collins’ campaign later disgorged illegal contributions it said it had not known were unlawful.
