Kazakh KGB officer Alnur Mussayev claims Putin possesses video of “Trump sexually assaulting minors.”

A former Kazakh intelligence chief, Alnur Mussayev, claims Vladimir Putin holds a file that could destroy Donald Trump — including compromising video.

The man behind the claim

Alnur Mussayev is not a random Person. He is a former Soviet KGB officer who later became chairman of Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee, the KNB, under Nursultan Nazarbayev. He held the job twice, in the late 1990s and again around 1999–2001. After a break with the Kazakh leadership he fled to Austria in 2007. Kazakhstan convicted him in absentia. In Vienna he was later tried in the Nurbank case — the abduction and killing of two bankers — and acquitted. He still lives in exile.

How the story grew

Mussayev did not start with the most explosive version.

For years he argued a broader thesis: Trump is “ideally recruitable,” Russia has kompromat, and the Kremlin has been promoting him. In February 2025 he went further on Facebook. He said that in 1987, while he served in the KGB’s 6th Directorate in Moscow, the service recruited a 40-year-old American businessman named Donald Trump under the codename “Krasnov.”

That claim went viral on its own. Then the file got darker.

Around the August 2025 Trump–Putin meeting in Alaska, outlets circulating Mussayev’s comments described not only financial records but audio and video of sexual crimes, including against underage girls, and alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein’s island and Mar-a-Lago. He said the FSB holds the material and uses controlled leaks to keep Trump aligned with Moscow. He also named Kazakh businessmen as intermediaries.

By early 2026, in an interview with Ukraine’s Espreso TV, the emphasis had shifted again: a compromising video from Trump’s 2013 stay at Moscow’s Ritz-Carlton during the Miss Universe pageant, copies held by both the FSB and Kazakhstan’s KNB, and a claim that Kazakh officials once tried to use the file in a 2017 meeting with then–Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Mussayev said the hotel was tied to a Kazakh oligarch, so footage from the building “belonged to the Kazakhs.” He added that Putin treated the material as personal property.

The 2013 Moscow trip is real. Trump did go for Miss Universe. The Ritz-Carlton stay is part of the public record. That is why the rumor attaches so easily to photographs from the pageant.
