the landlord of Rep. Lauren Boebert has kicked her out and it has nothing to do with a late rent payment.

the building’s ownership of Shooters Grill, the gun-themed Hooters parody restaurant of Lauren Boebert has changed hands last month, and it’s now owned by a marijuana retailer.
the landlord has told Boebert he will revoke the restaurant’s lease at the end of August, and send Shooters packing.
Boebert told The Daily Beast That she and her husband, Jayson Boebert, had been surprised to receive the notice last week
“She didn’t explain exactly why her business was being kicked out,” the website reported. “A person familiar with the arrangement said the property manager felt he had a ‘moral’ imperative to close the business, and had planned to lease the space to another restaurant.”
The company that took over the Shooters building, Milkin Enterprises, was formed days before buying it,according to Colorado business records, and the two men on its incorporation documents run the cannabis dispensary Rifle Remedies.
Boebert told The Daily Beast she had been keeping with rent payments to the father of one of those men, who owned the building through Meskin Enterprises.
It’s not clear why the new owners want Lauren Boebert out, but county records show the building’s deed transfer went through two days after the May 24 massacre at Robb Elementary School massacre in Uvalde, Texas, That same day, Boebert remarked that after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, “We didn’t ban planes.”
